Welcome to Your Webspace
This workshop is an introduction to a new feature of the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) virtual infrastructure called the Academic Web (http://academic.csc.edu). As of January 2014, CSC faculty members can sign up for webspace accounts, which they can use for any number of academic purposes-teaching, research, virtual galleries, publishing, archiving, and pure web experimentation. In addition to learning about the webspace, you will learn how to use the basic tools of the web designer’s trade, including an HTML editor and an application for file transfer. Signing up for the workshop automatically registers you for your Academic Web account.
