Supporting Academic Success for Students
As part of our plan at Chadron State College to support students when they are struggling academically (poor attendance, missing assignments, poor performance on assignments or exams), we have a process in place for faculty to submit concerns electronically through MyCSC. Although you may use this process at any point during the semester, intervention at the earliest sign of student academic struggle is much more likely to put them back on a track to ensure their success.
Follow these instructions for Early Alert reporting so that the team in the Office of Academic Success can initiate steps to reach out to students identified through your report submissions and connect them with the best people and resources needed at the time. When an alert is resolved, you’ll be notified of what communication and contacts took place.
