Following is a link to UNL’s website which describes ‘101 Things You Can Do in the First Three Weeks of Class’. Even after years of teaching, there are a number of things on the list that I am going to give a try. I hope you find something on the list to help you as well.
Our first NFO meeting of the semester will be Wednesday, January 27th from 3:00-4:15 in ADM 030 – the topic to be discussed with Vice President Snare and Dean Margetts will be: Collegiality, Institutional Service, and Campus Citizenship. After all, what better way to start the new year than to focus on the positive relationships and commitment we have to each other. The finalized Spring meeting schedule and agendas will be placed on the NFO Blog site as soon as we have received confirmation from all the participants.
During the weeks leading up to our first meeting of the semester, I’ll be stopping by your offices just to see how things are going. If something comes up before then, please feel free to get ahold of me. Having said that, please remember that your Professional Activity Report (PAR) is due on the SAKAI site on January 30th. I am happy to answer questions you might have over this process.
