About the Passport Project

High Plains Passport

If you have ever traveled abroad, you know that you take a passport with you, and for each new country you visit, you get your passport stamped.

The High Plains Passport is an activity we have developed to help our class explore this region, and to explore sites and activities that are relevant to our inquiry of the “range.” We will divide the class up into teams of 2 to 4 people, who will then strive to complete our “passport” by getting as many “stamps” from the sites listed below as possible. Each team will select a different passport site, visit it, take notes, then draft a single BLOG entry that captures their experiences. The blog entries will then be posted on a CSC Academic Blog site for the class members and the general public to view, and learn more about these areas of interest in our region.
